The current Soul's Remnant Wiki describes Soul Crystals as the basic currency. It says nearly every monster can drop them. The wiki’s Quest page also lists Soul Crystal rewards for several repeatable Spawn quests, including **Protect the Spawn!** (225), **I Hate Bubble Spirits** (350), **Assorted Shards** (500), and **Ferni and the Forest!** (2,000).

Amounts and drop rates can change with patches, so treat the in-game reward screen as final when you play.
